“They stock products which are hard to find elsewhere, and they are competitively priced”

“Fear not people, I did receive an email back after ten days of waiting for order to say they were having trouble with getting products from their suppliers on time, I think they have a backlog at min but I did receive an email once they received it and despatched it even though very late, the email was apologetic , although none of my items were missing or wrong so I cannot comment there...it's a waiting game....”

“Not too good experience really, had to chase order and thought the offer of a travel size product would be 15ml but actually 2.5 ml on receipt. Called zest and left message but never had a response”

“The price of the products is the best however delivery and tracking is what lets zest beauty down. I paid for first class delivery for two products but waited two weeks for one and I am still waiting for the other. I checked out as a guest and therefore I cannot track my order. I'd still order from zest beauty again if I wasn't in a rush for my products.”

“The products are great, price is good, but customer service is horrible. They don't send you shipment e-mails and there is no tracking. That usually is fine because the order ships within a few days or hours, but not this company. They were processing my order for a week and even then I got only a half of my order because the rest were out of stock. I will get the rest eventually. I wrote them 3 times, no response, got one only a week after e-mailing them.”

“I bought The Ordinary products from the Zest and Asos on the same day. The products from ASOS already arrive while that from Zest is still processing. I understand it may take some times for the order to be ready. But it is way too long. Need an improvement on this.The positive side about Zest is that it carries more The Ordinary products than ASOS and that's the only reason I am ordering from Zest.”

“Good selection of products at very competitive prices but I only received one Dermalogica sample pack where with other companies I get a good handful when ordering Dermalogica products. Also the special offer was not applied so they over charged me. This was rectified when I queried with Customer Services. I would use them again though.”

“I was ecstatic when I found my Neostrata products on Zest, they were $15 cheaper and had free shipping so I was thrilled...until I realised that although my items were shown in Canadian currency upon checkout, they were actually charged to my credit card in GBP, hence the charge was more than I'd expected due to the current exchange rate. I hadn't realised that Zest was based out of the UK so in addition to the extra exchange rate charge, I was also then charged $139 for duties, taxes and customs! So, my nice saving of $15 per item was quickly replaced by the other charges I incurred. That said, my products arrived within a week via DHL and I was given 48 hours notice before my items were to arrive so overall I was very happy. Just a note to anybody who's not purchasing them in the UK to beware of the hidden charges!”

Hi, thank you for your review. We understand that sometimes the currency exchange rates take people by surprise, and we sincerely apologise for the fact that these aren't made clearer. Please be assured that we do everything we can to help our customers avoid paying custom charges, this includes sending the parcels as gifts, and splitting shipments over a certain monetary value, however unfortunately this is occasionally not enough. We are currently reviewing our overseas procedures to see if there is anything we can do to make your experience with us better.

We would advise that we aim to ship orders much quicker than this, however the dispatch time can sometimes be out of our control due to delays with our shipments. “Great but for some reason checkout does not display any deductions to the sum payable to reflect the use of your beauty points. This is frustrating as you don't ever get to see the actual amount you pay. Please address this as save for this problem, the site is amazing. Thank you!”

“Like other reviewers, I was worried I would never receive my order as I never received emails from Zest apart from asking for a review. However today after almost 3 weeks, I was about to contact my Bank to retrieve my money & the package arrived by Royal Mail 24 hr delivery. Regarding the product ordered, I am happy & Zest included a free sample. Packaging was very good. Zest just need to improve their communications!”
